About Me
I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master’s in Counselling Psychology. I’ve worked in the mental health field since 2019 and have received additional training in modalities such as Somatic ExperiencingⓇ and Internal Family Systems. I've taken specialized training in grief and loss, and I have compassionate knowledge and insight into chronic illness, terminal illnesses, palliative care, hospice and the MAID process.
What has shaped me and the way I practice the most is my personal experiences with grief and loss. I lost both of my parents to terminal illnesses earlier in life than I ever expected. Those experiences changed everything; they cracked me wide open and changed my entire life. It’s the reason I do this work, and why I do it differently. I know what it’s like to have the ground ripped out from under you.
To feel like the rest of the world has moved on while you’re stuck in a loop of pain, numbness, and “what now?” It showed me the power of being witnessed in the mess, not fixed, not judged, just seen. Grief is heartbreaking, weird and messy, and I’m passionate about walking alongside others on their journey.

Starting therapy can be intimidating. Sitting across from a total stranger and being expected to open up about the hardest parts of your life. Not exactly a casual Tuesday.
Therapy with me is down-to-earth. Relatable and laidback, but direct when needed. You won’t find a blank slate here. You’ll find a real human who cares deeply, swears occasionally, and shows up fully. I reference TikToks and reality TV because let’s be honest, it helps (Yes, we can talk about your situationship through the lens of “Love Island.”). I also really love a good metaphor, and you will likely hear one of the many I use in sessions. There is healing in laughter, and I fully believe that therapy doesn’t have to be heavy all the time to be meaningful.
Clients have told me that it feels like talking to someone who “gets it” and they feel they can be themselves. I create a space where you can show up exactly as you are. It’s all welcome. You don’t need to be polished or productive to be here. During sessions, you can play with fidgets, colour, wrap yourself in a blanket or use a weighted pillow. It is a privilege to sit with people in their grief, uncertainty, shame, and their humanness. Whether you’re coping with the death of a loved one, the loss of a relationship, chronic illness, or just trying to make it through the day without crashing out from the state of the world, you are not alone here.
If you’re looking for a therapist who is professional where it matters but also a real human person, who knows the weight of grief and appreciates the timing of dark-humoured jokes, I might be the right fit.
